Can you introduce yourself?
I'm Izzie and I've been working at Dental IT and Tenacity for nearly 7 years now. I am the Operations Director and oversee the day to day running of the business. My role is extremely varied which is why I love it.
What's your day-to-day like at Tenacity?
Very busy and full on, with plenty of laughs along the way!
What has been the highlight during your time at Tenacity?
Helping to grow the company and working with a fantastic team.
What’s the best thing about working at Tenacity?
It has to be the team. From Liam and his bonkers new ideas to David and his hilarious one liners, no two days are ever the same.
How has COVID-19 affected your work?
No one uses my coffee cup or PC anymore... (!)
What has been the hardest thing to learn in your role?
Definitely the technical aspects, although I can now spec up a server which I didn't ever envisage!
What do you like about working in Sheffield and Hathersage?
I definitely prefer working in Hathersage. The office is a beautiful converted barn, and it's lovely in the summer (there are also some great pubs!).
What do you like to do in your spare time?
I love music and going to festivals, so can't wait for the world to get back to normal. I enjoy running and did the Sheffield 10k with the Dental IT team back in 2019, I'd love to do a marathon one day!
What's the most exciting technology you work with?
Ha, this was definitely a question for the engineers, although I do love my 3 screens.
What's the funniest query/problem you have had on the helpdesk?
Trying to explain the difference between a PC and a monitor...
What's the hardest problem you have had to work on?
Number porting. Agh.
What's the longest night you have ever worked and why?
I'm normally asleep by 9pm!
And finally, tell us something about you that we might not know?
I've had dental phobia since I was about 10 years old.
