Interesting, each day has a different challenge.
What has been the highlight during your time at Tenacity?
The various company outings.
What’s the best thing about working at Tenacity?
Working with like minded people, I don't get to talk about computers with anyone else.
How has COVID-19 affected your work?
It has affected us by making it difficult to plan work in. Although a room is empty we cannot access it during fallow.
Who is your favourite customer and why?
This is a trick question, I like all customers the same. Although like parents you know we have a favourite.
What has been the hardest thing to learn in your role?
Social skills, computers are easy humans are not.
What do you like about working in Sheffield and Hathersage?
The distance in Sheffield and it is located near to the motorway for easier travel. Hathersage has the views and a chill atmosphere.
What do you like to do in your spare time?
Fix computers and game. So yeah a typical IT person.
What's the most exciting technology you work with?
Servers, they have lots of flashing lights. Very exiting stuff.
What's the funniest query/problem you have had on the helpdesk?
The oh it's working now calls are always funny.
What's the hardest problem you have had to work on?
Disaster recovery issues. The amount of planning and bouncing ideas off of colleagues.
What's the longest night you have ever worked and why?
Is it still a night if you dont sleep? Recovering a server which we had just taken over maintaining was a challenge and took a lot of persistence.
And finally, tell us something about you that we might not know?
I cannot turn left.
